COX released a thermal module named CG300-NM and CG600-NM based on a thermal camera for CG300 and CG600 analog output security thermal camera. To develop a thermal network camera, you can develop it by attaching an IP module to the back of COX's thermal module CG300-NM and CG600-NM module, and it can be also used at a low price if you need an analog output thermal camera for security purposes. The COX thermal module can be selected according to its intended use as the output is supplied in three outputs, CVBS, Digital (BT656), and LVDS. The lenses that can be paired with COX module products can be all lenses that the project requires, from wide angle to telephoto. The CG300-NM and CG600-NM modules can control the focus and zooms of the lenses that are paired with the module in RS-485 communication. The power supplied by the thermal camera module to the focus motor and the zoom motor can be selected between 5 VDC and 12 VDC. When ordering thermal modules supplied by COX, you must specify whether the power to the lens, zoom, and focus motors is 5 VDC or 12 VDC, in case user wants to pair own lens. Control of zoom and focus is done by RS-485 communication.

The CN300-NM and CN600-NM modules control the zoom motor and the focus motor on the lens directly when motorized focus lenses or zoom lenses are fitted.
Power to be supplied to the zoom motor and focus motor can be selected between 5VDC and 12VDC, and the focus motor and zoom motor can be controlled in RS-485 communications. Specific methods for selecting voltage to lens motors and RS-485 communication details can be found in the module technical documents below.
